This school year, convention will take place in early March 2023 in Natchitoches, Louisiana at Northwestern State University.

All your favorite contests will again take place this year. Our Convention Chairs are working on updating the rules this fall, but for now the 2021-2022 updated Official LJCL Contest Rules can be found here.
Also, students must meet the following participation requirements to partake in convention:
Each student must:
- take at least 3 academic tests
- participate in at least 5 individual events (academic tests included)
- compete in at least 2 of the 4 areas of competition (Academic Tests, Creative Arts, Graphic Arts, and Olympika)
This, of course, is the minimum requirement, but students are encouraged to sign up for as many events as possible in order to have the most fun experience!
