What is the Regional Service and Spirit Committee?

  • The Regional Service and Spirit Committee is a committee chosen to help aid the president, 1st VP, and 2nd VP organize spirit and service events throughout the state.

Who can apply?

  • Any member of LJCL! The Regional Spirit & Service Committee will consist of two chairs from each district of Louisiana JCL.

What do you do on the Service and Spirit Committee?

  • Preside at all meetings of your district’s Regional Committee (all of the presidents of LJCL chapters in your district’s schools).
  • Represent your district at meetings of the state board of LJCL.
  • Aid the 1st Vice President in promoting membership and participation in local LJCL chapters in your district.
  • Plan and coordinate an annual service event for your district.
  • Plan and coordinate an annual spirit event for your district.
  • Aid the 1st Vice President in maintaining a list of Latin, Greek, and Classical Humanities programs in your district and contacting these programs about joining LJCL.
